Stephanie Bryan is the District Reading Specialist. Her job responsibilities include providing dyslexia intervention on the campus level, evaluating students for dyslexia, and training and educating professional staff on dyslexia and related disorders. Stephanie graduated from West Texas A&M with a degree in Elementary Education and is also ESL certified. She received her Dyslexia Therapist training from Scottish Rite Learning Center in Lubbock. She is also trained in the Region 4 Dyslexia Intervention Program. Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband and their four children.

Amberly graduated from West Texas State University in 1989 with a B.S. in Elementary Education with a Reading concentration. She obtained ESL certification in 1993. She began her teaching career in Hereford as a 1st grade teacher. She then taught 1st grade for 2 years in Dumas ISD. She moved to Lubbock and taught Title I for 5 years. She taught in New York State for two years before returning to Canyon. She completed Dyslexia Therapist training with Scottish Rite in Lubbock in 2000. She is also trained in the Region 4 Dyslexia Intervention Program. She currently teaches Dyslexia and Reading Intervention at Canyon ISD. She has two boys that attend school in Canyon. Her hobbies include singing, reading, and watching NASCAR.

LesLee graduated from West Texas A&M University in 2000 with a B.S. in Elementary Education with a Reading concentration. She obtained her Masters in 2014 with a M.Ed in Educational Leadership. She began teaching in CISD as a 1st grade teacher. She has taught 1st grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade and Intervention in her 15 years in Education. She currently a District Reading Specialist for Canyon ISD. She has two children that attend school in Canyon.

Larissa graduated from West Texas A&M University in December 2003 with a B.S. in Elementary Education with a concentration in Early Childhood through 4th grade. She earned her Master of Education, Reading K-12 fromTexas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas in December 2012. She has taught 1st and 2nd grade, Reading Recovery, Reading Intervention and has been teaching for 11 years. Larissa has been married for 11 years to Charlie and they have two sons together. She is currently a District Reading Specialist for Canyon ISD.
