Randall HS Celebrates Back-to-Back Lone Star Cup Wins, Hall of Fame Induction, and Homecoming Victory
Randall High School’s homecoming Friday was a day of celebration and achievement. Just before the football game, the Randall Raiders were recognized for their incredible feat of winning the Lone Star Cup for the second year in a row, taking home the title in both the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 school years. Out of more than 200 4A high schools across Texas, Randall was named the number one school in Conference 4A, recognized for excellence in academics, athletics, and fine arts. This prestigious award from the University Interscholastic League (UIL) reflects the dedication and hard work of our students and staff across all areas of student life.
In another highlight of the day, Randall honored Leslie Broadhurst, the first boys basketball coach in the school’s history, with his induction into the RHS Hall of Fame. After over 30 years of coaching at Randall, Broadhurst was recognized for his lasting contributions to the Raider community.
The night wrapped up with a dominant performance on the field, as the Raiders secured a 56-16 victory over Wichita Falls Legacy. It was the perfect cap to a day full of success and recognition.
