Canyon ISD and Five Elementary Campuses Named to 2024 Texas Honor Roll by Educational Results Partnership
Canyon ISD is proud to announce that the district has been named to the 2024 Educational Results Partnership (ERP) Honor Roll, recognizing top-performing public school districts across Texas. Canyon ISD is one of only 63 districts—roughly nine percent of eligible districts statewide—to earn this distinction.
In addition to the district recognition, five Canyon ISD elementary schools have also earned a place on the 2024 ERP Honor Roll:
- Arden Road Elementary
- City View Elementary
- Crestview Elementary
- Reeves-Hinger Elementary
- Sundown Lane Elementary
These campuses are among the top 12 percent of all public schools in Texas honored for outstanding student achievement.
“We are honored that five of our elementary schools- and Canyon ISD as a whole - are being recognized for the incredible work happening in classrooms every single day,” said Dr. Darryl Flusche, Canyon ISD Superintendent. “This recognition highlights the dedication of our teachers and staff to helping every student succeed.”
The Honor Roll is based on student performance data from the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) over the 2022–2024 academic years. Now in its tenth year, the ERP Honor Roll celebrates public schools, districts, and charter schools that are closing achievement gaps and advancing equity—especially for historically disadvantaged and high-poverty student populations.
Educational Results Partnership is a nonprofit organization that applies data science to identify and share successful educational strategies that improve student outcomes and workforce readiness.
“The ERP Texas Honor Roll recognizes high-performing schools where students are building the foundational skills needed in today’s workforce,” said Dan Kinney, ERP Board Chair. “We’re proud to spotlight schools like those in Canyon ISD and support their continued success.”
