Amarillo now has 2 permanent locations to drop off unused, unwanted and expired prescription drugs. Potter County Sheriff Brian Thomas and Randall County Sheriff Joel Richardson, allowed Impact Futures Drug Free Community Coalition to place collection boxes in their agencies!

Teen prescription drug abuse is more than an emerging problem. 1 in 7 teens abuse prescription drugs in Texas, mainly because medicine cabinets – both home and at friends’ houses – are so easily accessible.

Be part of the solution. Dispose of unwanted, unused, or expired medication at the new permanent drop box locations. No paperwork to fill out, no questions asked, just come by during business hours and drop them off!
