How to put money in your student’s account: You may prepay your student’s account at any time, with a check or cash, at the school. For your convenience, you may visit myschoolbucks.com to view your child’s account history and/or make online payments.
(Please note: myschoolbucks.com charges a small service fee for online transactions, however you can view your student’s account activity at any time at no charge.)
Applications for Free/Reduced School Lunch & Breakfast can be found at nlappscloud.com or under the Food Service section of the www.canyonisd.net web site. Print out the application and bring back to your school. Applications are accepted and processed throughout the school year for your convenience and if your family’s situation changes.
Charge Policy: CISD Charge Policy allows six (6) charges for plate meals. After that grace period students will receive a low-cost reimbursable meal until parents take care of the students account balance. A la carte items may not be charged.
It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to take care of any negative account balances.
Please take care of the account balances that are due via, cash, check or payments made through MySchoolBucks.
For assistance, NSLP application packets are available during the school year at the campus or on line at Canyon ISD - Meal Sense (National School Lunch Program).
How a la carte items work: Your child may purchase a la carte items with cash or the selections purchased can be deducted from their account. The following is a sample of a la carte items offered by the Child Nutrition/Food Service Department. Baked Chips – Bottled Water – Fresh Fruit – Ice Cream – Milk – Fruit Juice Extra portions of the plate lunch can also be purchased through the a la carte program.
Your child’s account can be customized to meet any specific instructions – restriction or allowance of purchasing certain items, or purchasing only specific days of the week – you may designate by sending a letter to your school’s cafeteria’s manager.
We welcome parents, grandparents, etc . . . to join their student for breakfast and lunch.
